Hey Everyone....wow !!! great games this week. My thanks to everyone players, parents and Coaches for making our double header week a great success. The final standings are posted and this concludes our regular schedule for the 2008-2009 Season.
Another strong showing by the Demons in the second game today confirms their place as the Junior Huskies top team finishing with 220 points overall. Da Guys however were not about to give up the battle and with a great effort in a very close game managed to hold onto second place with a total of 209 points. An amazing effort by the Hawks in their last game propelled them into the 3rd place spot this year in a testament to team effort and participation. They finished with 180 points overall. Despite a great effort by their key players the crazy eights gave up a spot to finish in 4th spot with 177 points total. Finally showing what they are made of with an awesome game against the surging Hawks our team Raptor put together another win in their first game to up their point total to 165 and round out our teams in the fifth spot overall.
Now checking your schedules you will see that this sets up our playoff week April 11th as follows:
Demons will get a by week to practice and get ready for the championship Semi final on April 18th.
Da Guys (2nd place) play The Raptors (5th place) to determine who moves on.
The Third Place Hawks will play The Fourth Place Crazy 8's (losing team ) to play the Demons in the first Semi final game on the 18th at 9:30 AM.
The winner between the Hawks and theCrazy 8's will play the winner between Da Guys and The Raptors in the second semi final game at 9:30 AM on the 18th (loser of this game is eliminated from further play.)
We will then be left with only two team to play the championship game at 10:30 am on April 18th.
Good Luck to you all next week...from what I saw this week anything can still happen.

Hi Everyone.....week 13 has been posted on the scoreboard. Still a tight race between the Demons and Da Guys for first place overall. All the teams are encouraged to keep playing hard as we come into the final weeks of the season. There are some very close battles for position with all teams able to improve where they sit with good attendance and team work to share scoring and grab as many points as you can in those areas. Work hard - Play hard and remember the teams that are having the most fun together usually come out on top!

Hi guys...Fast Break here! Check for you teams updated standings from Feb. 7th today! Da Guys are back in the lead after a hard fought victory over the Crazy 8's. It was an excellent game with great team work on both sides keeping the score very close right up till the end of the fourth quarter. Congrats to the Hawks who were firing on all cylinders to come up with their highest scoring effort of the season and defeat a good Raptors team who just couldn't get the ball to drop enough to keep up. Don't worry Raptors your hard work and attention to Coach Jason's instructions will payoff if you keep up the great attitude you showed this week.
Please put a note on your new schedules for March 28th...That game will be played at Cayuga Secondary school instead of at McKinnon Park.
Ok see you all next week.
